Personally I'm new to mazdas... I'm totally confused on how the vvt cam works... So far i've found out that vvt is only on the intake cam.. with one profile... which is either advanced or retarted a few degreees by the ecm/ecu... its totally different from Honda's VTEC with 2 cam profiles...

2.3 MZR is the same as the Duratec 23 Doin some research... and found that the Mazda engineered MZR is also known as the Duratec in Fords... The small I4 MZRs replaced all of Ford'z Zetech engines... So if you are looking for cams.. look around for Duratec cams... for the focus and...
