put these on mine too. Very nice, have exact brushed alum color as the dash trim..but agree with other poster, the edge black trim was ok but only if it would've MET TOGETHER at its' seam. Guess they were really stretching the vinyl trim budget on these..

is there also a change around the backdrop of the center Mazda logo? looks different...?

is this metal or plastic? what's the company source? was there no way to use it instead of the honeycomb? not sure I like the overlapping....

Ok, I've read some/many of these items here, but all in one place: who else recognizes these on theirs or can add to them? Oh, and before you (flame2) me, I do love my CX-7!! 1) fast idle on coldstart - 2K rpms or better, no let-up, so an on-edge 'drop' into gear; 2) doors sound flimsy and...

Both points my wife and I noticed: 1) doors light and sound toyish - no oomph. 2) doors creak and open on the hinge with real subtle grind, like opening w/hinge dusted w/sand. I sprayed white grease on, no real change.

Please tell me this isn't so! You mean I put in a bought CD, and it wont' show up any of the track info???! If so, this car continues to underwhelm me in the details, lacking features my 7-year trade-in van had.....(pissed)

I have the OEM 6-bay in-dash CD-player w/CX-7 GT edition...but it's not showing anything (ever) for any CD...title, track, listing, etc. Is this "off" by default (if so, stupid) and how to enable? or do I have a defective unit? Have tried multiple CDs, and "real" ones, not ones I've made...

Im not worried if it would look good, that I have no doubt. More concerned on the "how-to" as I'm not a painter expert. What to use? How to prep surface? What's after-expectancy, etc etc

while we're all waiting for grille accessories, has anybody done a repaint of the existing honeycomb upper/lower grilles? I'd think that on black CX-7 Grand Touring, these simply chromed would be great. Any painters have idea on how viable this would be to do...what to use, would it "stick"...
