BTW I already have an answer from the dealership. I just want to know what people think. I also have not had all of my oil changes at the dealership, but the most recent oil change was completed there. The dealership is not accepting full responsiblilty.

I had brought my 2004 Mazda 6 in for an oil change 1400 miles ago. I was driving home from work and the oil light came on when going 70 mph down the highway. Pulled over right away but the engine had quit before I could stop. Had the vehicle towed and they found a crack in the oil filter...
