exactly how did you remove the console? I've tried and failed to remove my console cover to get to a malfunctioning cd player. can you help?

i am unable to eject the disc, load another or even play the one that is currently in the player. It seems as thoughit is stuck in a changer limbo. I would much appreciate any ideas. And is there a secret to removing the console's cover? Thank you, Brian
