Yeah my 2015's stock battery died a little over a year ago so about 3 or 4 years of life. Replaced with a AAA battery which didn't even last a year. Put in a a Northstar AGM after that, hopefully will be much better
AFAIK you can easily use 6.5 with custom adapters that they sell online, like Crutchfield. Or you be able to drop in an 8" mid-range. I was looking at the Sundown Neo 8.
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to replace the dash corners with some Hertz 3.5. May just take it to a shop and...
Wish I had known this, couple weekends ago my battery died when I came out to it. AAA jumped it and their reading was the battery is bad so I just had them replace it. Oh well, it was a Sunday and no time off work to go to a dealer. $150 vs $300+
Stop light lag from using 87? has 89/91 been tested to actually make a difference?
Got my '15 GT a year ago with 18K on the clock, now its at 36K. Besides oil changes and new front & rear rotors & pads its been going strong. Only mods to it are 2 8" DC Audio M3 in a TL Box with sound deadening...
Basically I pulled off the liner to put sound deadener on it. Of course I pretty much broke all the stupid plastic clips. Besides the dealer any idea where to get these.
Metra Dash Kit from Sonic Electronix. Fits right in. Love that it looks stock.
Yeah I'm planning to take the car to a shop near my house eventually and either see if they can hook up to the stock camera or just have a new one run (which I'm sure will have better picture quality anyways) and...
Another Bay Area guy!
Looks like good work, I will keep them in mind when I finally ditch the Bose. Kind of disappointed they sold you on a capacitor, surprised they even make that junk anymore. I'm running ~1500RMS @ 1ohm to my 2 8's, stock alt, stock battery, no cap. They are not needed...
Pioneer AVH-2300NEX. Installed a couple weeks ago, SonicElectronix didn't send me the harness for Bose connection so ended up having to go to a shop after me and my buddy got it all hooked up then no sound lol. Also, connection to retain factory camera couldn't be figured out even by a shop so...

The recall covers Mazda 6 sedans from 2015 and 2016. The company says in documents posted by the U.S. government that wires under the...
