Just put two of your fingers through the upper charcol filter and pull it will pop out dosen't take to much strength to do it

The one in the upper part of the box is a charcoal filter, it is shown in the picture above. I removed it and put a K&N in and the car is a lot smoother through the rpm range car has a little more bit to it now.

Has anyone removed the secondary air filter yet? Did that to my 07 Corrola and it made a difference in gas miliage and throttle response.
