Yup, definately will try this one! I had both front links changed twice in 6 months too and they're starting to clunk again! -> Guess it's just a bad design from mazda.

Are those for the front or rear? I notice the Escape one are a tad smaller...any effect on the handling?

I got the Pioneer DEH-2200UB which I think is basically the same size as the ones you listed and it fits fine withour cutting anything.

Altough "mounting" them meant screwing them on...since they were already mounted on the rims...

Just a quick follow up on this thread I started. I just put in my OEM P5 rims and there is no more vibration! I gues it was because of the cheap @$$ tires and rims the dealer put on when they sold me the car. Thanks to all that replied! On a side note...Oil change + putting summer tires on just...

I do have the red LED, but it's positioned on top of the steering column. It flashes when the engine's off. I don't think it actually does anything tough. I believe it's only to discourage theft and not actually an alarm by itself. Can anyone confirm this?

The alignment and balancing was done at the dealer from wich I bought the car from. Before I bought it, they told me the car had no repairs to be done...good thing I had it checked elsewhere before buying because there were a couple things wrong (CV joint, endlinks, shocks, cracked windshield)...

I also noticed something odd that I've yet to see on other cars.... Both front wheels have 2 weights each (they are about 180 degrees away)...is that normal??

Do I need to have both front wheels up or is just one at a time ok?

Just to be clear...there is no sound when in motion. Should I do the bearing test and then see if the clunk is still there on a standstill?
