i don't know how the msp is set up, but the bov may cause problems the same way it has been on 1.8t motors. here's why... (sorry if i am wrong, but this is how i've been led to understand it) airflow goes like this: filter---maf---intercooler---bov---motor but stock goes like this...

i'm not arguing that the msp isn't; because it is. my point was that in the list of cars he had posted, the svt was down the list, while all the numbers I'VE seen show them (svt and msp) to be closer than that. but when it comes to autox, i've heard the mini coopers are also a force to contend...

so you just pull off the stock diverter and this goes in it's place? i see they also sell a 1" aluminum plug for open atmosphere bovs, so i take it you'd need this. they're made for vw, so do you think it's going to work on the msp? anyone have pics of the diverter valve and where this would go?

not yet. i'm going to wait till the svt is in the shop for another 4 days, and then nevada law says it's a lemon. then the fun begins with the dispute settlement board. so it'll be a few months. :(

too bad they're made by apc. maybe if they have great fitment and never leak i would get over it.

i'll have to disagree with you a bit. especially on the handling thing. i've seen plenty number comparisons (1/4 time and slalom specifically) betwen the svt and the msp, and they are VERY close with the msp winning by tiny margins.

i agree it looks like crap in pictures, but when you see it in real life (especially silver) it looks suprisingly good.

great! there need to be more people/companies that think that way when making performance mods for cars. (thumb)
