I'm getting a whistling sound as well, especially when is cold. And that "clunk" fro 1st to second when it is cold...jeez! I'm going to check it all out--thanks for telling me you've got it, too!

no, no luck. It looksl like the deflector is actually vibrating and making the low noise. I'm bringing it to the dealer this week to have it checked out and to also see why my suspension is making a binding noise when I turn left.

I've tightened the deflector as far as it will go. I'm going to try and attach two silicone cabinet bumpers to the top of the deflector today to see if it breaks up the noise.

My insurance on my Mazda 3 just DROPPED...why? becuase the 3 scored #1 in the latest crash tests by the AIHS (American Institute for Highway Safety). I'm paying $360 a year, full coverage. i just love this car......... (hump)

I'll post one tomorrow--it's in need of a wash....and I'll be careful which finger I use! Hope someone can help me out there!

Help! After installing a Mazda moonroof deflector, I get this low loud noise between 30 and 40 MPH. Anyone seen this? How can it be fixed? If I stick a hand (or even a finger!) out the sunroof, it goes away!
