I am yet to go to the dealer with the car seats, but after discussing this with my wife she feels that she can sit in the middle and have the babies on the sides. I am not sure if there will be enough space for her to sit comfortably with this configuration.

We are actually planning to install the seats in the 2nd row - middle seat and one side seat. I guess the reason you mentioned it is because the middle seat in 2nd row does not have the tether anchors? We were planning to use the seat belt to install the seat in middle.
