You're right, that would be a tight fit, (boom02) they are 205/55-16"s

I broke 2 of my factory wheels and bent a 3rd within 2 months of buying the car. Put some 16" eagle alloys and 205/55-16"s on it and haven't had a problem since. Fortunately the wheels are common with a lot of other vehicles.
