ok so i just got a 97 mx6 in decent shape for a good price but it i'snt running right it idles at 3000 in park or neutral it gets less than 20 miles a gallon it less power than it should threw all rpm ranges and it falls on its face from a stop to about 40 mph if you give it more than 30%...

i dont want to do a whole lot to my msp but i want to to be a little more than stock just to show off a little bit and i dont just want to get a boost controller and boost the crap out of it and burn it up whats the best way to increase horse with out messing up the car that is not alot money

the msp is not built to be the longest lasting engine its a stock engine with a bolt on turbo its obviously going to have problem specially when you just trow performance parts at it. i like the fact that things are going to go out n it sooner just gives me a better reason to buy better parts...

i don't know if it really had anything to do with it but i took off the egr and cleaned it up and it made it alot better its still time for new plugs and wires to and its a shuttering not so much a shaking but thanks for the info guys

thats kinda like the free racing stripes all you have to do is park up a hill from a light poll leave the car in first and hope it pops out and slides across the cement it works great

yea good write up it makes alot of difference i had a little over 50k on mine when i got it and the guy just said it had an idling problem when warming up it would drop all the way down to 100 and the computer would kick it up to 1500 before it would stall but it still was getting 29 going 80 on...
