I did go back to the dealer and talked to the sales manager and he said those were no longer provided with the cars. I have a 2002 that I purchased in Nov. of 2002. I hope he is not feeding me a line.

I believe they quit providing those sometime in 2002? I went back to my dealer for the same thing and they gave me some story about mazda not doing that anymore.

You know I think it all started after I had that bad batch of chili and then went for a long drive. Hmmmmm.

It does smell like leather but I don't think of leather as smelling fresh. It is more like a dead cow. Ha. It is not a really bad smell but I have smelled leather that smelled better than mine. It does seem to have more of a smell when it is warm or damp out. Aparently it is not the same...

Do you have leather? I have noticed my p5 stinking and I think it is the leather.

We live in igloos and eat whale blubber, but you are welcome to stay with us. Heck I traded a dog sled and a good team of dogs for my P5.

I am in Alaska and just bought a silver 2002 P5 about three weeks ago. So far so good. I have been driving a 4wd truck the last few days since we finally got some snow. I am going to try and get thru this year without getting snow tires. Later
