Fun poll: How Many Kids Fit

Gas mileage was still pretty good. I think I averaged just shy of 26 MPG for the round trip. I just didn't like having to be in 3rd gear doing just over 5k RPMs just to keep up with traffic through the canyon.

    Another 'new' 5 owner

Had this problem in my '06, broke one of the bolts off when I noticed the head starting to rust. I wanted to change it and it broke with very little torque. When I picked up my new '10 the first thing I did was switch out the rear license plate bolts for stainless steel ones with a heavy coat...

Fun poll: How Many Kids Fit

The other day I took my in laws and my family on a 200 mile road trip that included mountain passes as well as 75 MPH freeway. Total weight of people was about 875 lbs. Plus I had my Thule Atlantis 1600 on the roof. Talk about a HUGE decrease in performance. I had a hard time keeping up with...

    I might be in trouble.

Well, I appreciate all that advice that everybody has given. I would love to be able to purchase a mini van. But that just isn't going to happen. We owe too much on the 5 to trade it in. As well as the 5 was reaching the upper end of our budget. Plus we love our 5 and the features that it...

    I might be in trouble.

As most of you might remember, I was the one who traded away my 06 5 for a Nissan Pathfinder that I hated. Back in November I traded that in on a brand new 2010 5 that I love. My wife and I have a 5 year old and 3 year old. They love the 5. They especially love the DVD system. Fast forward...

Tire Pressure on New Mazda 5 (from the dealership)

When I took delivery of mine, all 4 of my tires were sitting right around 23 psi. And my TPMS light was on. I wasn't too happy about that.

Best place to buy OEM remote starter

These aren't the responses I was hoping for. I know that Mazda has a remote start available for my 5. I just don't want to pay my dealer $360 plus $200+ for installation if I don't have to. Installing the unit wont be a problem for me. This will make the 4th or 5th unit that I have...

Best place to buy OEM remote starter

I got a little money for Christmas and would like to pick up an OEM remote starter. Do anybody know the best (cheapest) place to do so?

    Rear vent air temp

When I had my 06, I had to put a couple of clip on fans in to keep the kids cool in the summer. But we never had a hard time keeping the kids warm in the winter. It doesn't bother me that my '10 will only blow cold air out in the rear. Plus, it will be one less thing that could go wrong. I...

    Call me crazy!

I haven't even had the car one week yet and I have already put 600 miles on it. I love it so much. My wife is getting sick of me talking about how much I like it. "I get it, I know you like it. I like it too, but can we talk about something else now?"

    Call me crazy!

Well, I am glad to be joining a bunch of other crazy people. My Pathfinder wasn't terrible, but I just didn't love it. Not like I loved my 5. Now I grin from ear to ear every time I open my garage door and see it sitting inside.

    Call me crazy!

Back in March of 2006 I purchased a brand new Mazda 5 Touring. My wife and I loved it! But for some crazy reason we decided we needed something different. That something different was a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder that we picked up used in July 2009. Neither of us have been truly happy with it...
