I'm trying to open the head, and the ****** 14mm doesn't fit, and 15mm slips, i'm afaird to stip the bolts. BTW these are the bolts which hold the head in place.

he said set the left one at 10 o'clock does that mean i set my left cam to 10 than slip the belt off.

Thank You I called a local dealo today, and the guy said, that there will be a dot on the cam, which i need to align to the markings on the block. what did he ment?? He said left one at 10 o'clock and the right one at 2 o'clock. Can you guys help me out, how do i get it to set it at that...

i know i'm yelling in the forest. But don't these cars all have almost the same cam, since its the same manufacture. What marks are on the protege's cam.

How do you put the mazda cams to TDC. It doesn't say UP nor is there any arrow or anything. Its a 94 rwd mpv

any tips, pointers, would be great. I have replaced head gasket before, but it was on my civic. 1.5 liter. this is a V6. though it seems pretty straight forward, and simple. But i never touhced mazdas before. any help would be appretiacted

I have a 94 Mazda MPV, two wheel drive not the 4X4. My head gasket is out, and one of my rocker arm is making noises.

I need help tearing out my car, this is the right place, i didn't see a mpv section.
