So I also got a set and noticed that the edges on all of them are cut oddly. I took a blade and trimmed them up as when you look underneath, there is either a trim line or an overhang look but once you take a closer look on all the edges you will notice.
Cleaning it once a month is fine and using a damp light soap can bring any dirt or body grease to the surface and use a damp clean cloth to wipe off is really all you need. Using a brush is good only for stains that are heavy since as lip stick or mud.
i think if you could save some more and invest in the U3000 it would be more beneficial due to the rader sensor for both front and rear. also best to use it with the "thinkware connected" app which i think is great to have.
The A-pillar is easy to remove only if you know how because it can be very tricky to place back in place but to take it apart you need to pull from the top till it pop out and the clip that is holding it in, you will need to twist it till it match with the insert slot for it to come out of place...
So, I finally was able to put in the roof rack and in my opinion. I think the only part that is good is the rail itself as everything else is plastic. also the screw stick out a bit once fully mounted in place due to the roof rail gap is small.
