We are having the same problem on our 2013. I guess a trip to the dealership is in order.

My daily commute is 45 miles in each direction, with cruise set between 65 and 75.

I've got a stock 08.5 with 45,500 and have had no problems.

The benefit of this is if you accidentally hit the unlock button, your car won't stay unlocked in a parking lot or driveway, ready for someone to walk up and jack whatever you left in there.

Doesn't auto-lock only come into play if you unlock the car and then don't open a door within 30 seconds?

7500 is for the normally aspirated versions. Turbo is 5000.

Amen! I did have it for over 8 years (2000 A4), so it wasn't a bad car. But there were the little electrical gremlins that would rear their heads every so often.

Well, that sucks if I have to go 2 1/2 - 3 hours for any warranty work. That's one reason I wanted to get rid of my Audi that I had prior to the MS3.

I've never seen a Speed3 on the road either. Hell, the regular 3 hatchbacks are much more rare than the sedans around here. You guys are talking about going to Paretti for service...have you heard anything as to whether a regular Mazda dealership (not a Mazdaspeed dealer) can service these as...

I don't go to Baton Rouge (I'm two hours west of you) often enough to know about how the cops are, but I do know that they are particularly strict on I-12, so beware. I just took off my side molding this weekend. I don't think it looks terrible, but the car looks cleaner without it. (imho)

Welcome from another Louisiana resident. I bought mine just over 3 weeks ago (in Houston, though) and already have over 4,000 miles (damn hurricane evacuations). Oh, and yes, the smell is normal, and will go away soon.

I've got a Chevy with a Mopar cam.

That's pretty slow for highway driving. (lol2)
