Found a Mazda Speed6 CAI for 290.00 so guess Ill go with that. It is a bit more than the Fujita but I think it will raise fewer questions if I ever need warranty service. Thanks for all the input ;)
Aaragon
Thanks guys. The Fujita is definitely less than teh Mazda CAI. In fact , Browns Mazda of Alexandria wants 375.00 - just for the CAI. I didnt even ask how much labor was but I can easily imagine a total bill well over 500.00.
I have a related question - Ive notices that the the CP-E, Fujita and...
Hey all,
Well, this will be my first MOD and from what Ive read there are a few companies in the CAI market. Initially I was looking at the Fujita but now I wonder if its better to go with the Mazda CAI. Is one CAI better than the other or are they all equal? I figure the Mazda CAI wont give me...
FYI. This may be common knowledge but I'm a MS6 noob ;) so...
Something I just found out is that after you get the car back your drivers side window contoller may not work, at least thats how it will seem when you try to operate the rest of the windows from the drivers seat. Apparently when...
Yeah, I totally recommend this serivice. Just keep in mind that it does take some time; I would count on a good day to day and a half.
I am glad that I got the service for a few reasons:
1. The OEM clutch was ridiculous. Every time i was stopped on a hill the possibility of rolling into...
Smoooootttthhhhh SHifting ;) !!
Wow (rockon) its a whole new machine. This clutch is a huge improvement over the OEM version. The travel is smooth through the range and the engagement point finally "feels" right. I'm not sure exactly what questions you guys want answered but just post and Ill...

As you can see, it is unique in that it sits in the...
lol...thanks.
Yeah, I told him to take his time as did the service rep. I got a call from the dealership a few minutes ago and we decided to wait until Monday. That way they can give it a good test drive and make sure everything is 100% prior to giving it back to me.
Status thus far...
Status thus far:
Stopped by the dealership at around 1:00 this afternoon. I went there on my way home just to see how things were going. The service rep told me that the parts had arrived at 10:30 and the techs had been busy installing siunce then. He walked me back to the...
Actually, mine is sitting there taken apart... I saw it with my own eyes. Thats why I am confident that the remaining part will be in tomorrow. As far as ordering the parts, Im not sure why they reluctant to order the parts and contact you when theyre in :s Seems to me that they would "shelf"...
Lets hope thats not the case or Im gonna be waiting right there with ya (ugh)
My service rep said that it was on its way so i dont expect any back ordering ... at least I hope not. I asked him how many people had been into the dealership for the TSB and he said I was the first so i cant...
