This has zero chance of happening. There's no way they are going to update old cars to disable that. You knew it had that feature when you bought it. You accepted it then. Hell, they may not even remove it from future cars. Maybe, MAYBE, if the next Gen car comes out and they do disable i-Stop...

I posted in...2019/2020. I still have that car. Almost 90K miles. A warranty would have still been a waste of money.

I'm not that invested and perfectly willing to believe what they're saying. I can understand a company not wanting to pay for certification. And it's not like BP is some tiny little gas company.
At the end of the day, there are no BPs around me. 🤷

FTR BP Invigorate exceeds TT specs supposedly. I absolutely only use TT fuel, but BP and Aamco are both safe, too. They just don't pay to get certified.
