Haven't had a chance to post in the last few months. So busy with two young children, and work, but here is a little summary of the last three months work...and some from today! My 2019 CX-9 just crossed 57,000~ km / 35,000~ miles
New rear rotors & pads
Transfer case & rear differential service...
I'm getting my 2019 with 58k kilometres serviced next week. Both drain and fill for the transfer case and rear diff, as well as the transmission. I'll see if my Mazda tech can take a photo of both to share.
Winter ❄️ ready here in Kamloops, BC. 🇨🇦
Had the snowies 🛞 mounted and rebalanced last month. What a difference in ride quality.
Finally got around to updating the firmware 74.00.310 to 74.00.324 / Certainly faster and very easy to install! I can’t believe I waited this long. Hooked up a my...
Finally got around to cleaning the engine bay after a couple of interior BC winters.

Looking for some feedback from fellow CX-9 owners. @sm1ke @youri @PTguy 😉🤓
Me: 2019 CX-9 with 41,000~ kilometres on it.
No issues thus far, but have a year left on power train warranty.
Is an oil analysis going to help determine if I’m suffering from a coolant leak or the beginning of one...
Spring is here, so my CX-7 winter wheels 🛞 doing service on my CX-9 are washed, scrubbed and put away until the Fall.
My stock all-season Bridgestones from Mazda look like I’ll get one more year… 33,000km on those lousy tires…
Starting my research for some rear and perhaps front brakes (rotors and pads) for my '19 CX-9 GT. Between a lot of Coquihalla Hwy trips, moving to hilly and very wintery part of BC, and a rear brake bias...we're nearing our end of life. Honestly... not impressed after getting 125,000 out of my...
Incredible! That engine bay looks like it's brand new once again. Great video!
Gotta ask, did you cover anything up in plastic or leave the engine running?
Quickly worked through the update on my 2019 GT. Dealer installed: 74.00.310 NA from 70.00.367 and in the 30 minutes of driving back home I noticed in an anecdotal sense:
Much quicker load time from initial engine ignition to system boot and ready for input, quicker menu option scrolling...
I'm planning on upgrading from 70.00.367 NA to 74.00.310 NA at my next service visit. Mid-May. I've got a '19 GT and wondering if those with 74 are generally happy with it. Mixed reviews over within this thread.
@sm1ke - you have the Mazda block heater installed right? I don't think these are installed for us in B.C. but with a move to the interior on the horizon, it may have to be a future install.
Do you use yours often?
LOL :ROFLMAO: - whoops! What I meant by that was with the amount of space a carseat takes up in the CX-9 it can lead to creative packing styles...or just the need for more room for stuff.
