Vote for the Mazda3 as Road and Track Best Car

It also has been said in most reviews already that it is better than the Protege it replaces. And that car was no where close to being a bad car.

Vote for the Mazda3 as Road and Track Best Car

You could vote for up to 5 cars, so was the 3 at least one of your choices.

does anybody care about the sedan?

Pepi, when you say low spoiler, do you mean a front chin spoiler. If so I think there is one included in the 3s with sport package.

does anybody care about the sedan?

Another reeason I will pick a sedan over a hatch is 1. reduced weight, and 2. 9 times out of 10 a sedan is more rigid then a hatch.

    ? here about the 3

I get the RX3 will be a coupe version built on the Miata platform, which in turn is built on a shortened RX8 platform IIRC.

    Mazda 3 Preview

Well if it makes you feel better from what I have heard the new GTI with a turbo4 producing close to 200 hp with all the bells and whistles will be close to 3200 lbs. The way I look at it is I drive a 2900lb New Beetle with 155hp, so a 3s with 16o hp, and close to the same weight will be plenty...

does anybody care about the sedan?

I think the sedan version will fit my needs better, plus I am a bigger fan of the 3 sedan over the 3 wagon. But i think it is person preference.

    AutoWeek Review of the Mazda3

Holy Sh!t. 21k for a car with HIDs and nav. Does that include the auto tranny. My girl friend will also be drving the car.

    AutoWeek Review of the Mazda3

I would take a guess accrding to those prices HID and nav won't make it to the US.

    AutoWeek Review of the Mazda3

Did they mention anything about the price range.

    I saw One

Since the available 16s on the new 3 are 205/55/16, I think the 17s would be 215/45/17 or something close. I think it is a good compromise between ride comfort and sportiness.
