    Keep it for another 2 years, sell it then if you're still wanting to upgrade. Way to big of a hit selling it now.

    Emblem or Decal for the Shift Knob.

    I agree, the shift knob looks like crap compared to the rest of the interior. Still waiting to see what aftermarket knobs are available.

    Mazda6 vs CX-5 with kid on the way

    Either car will and should work out just fine. I ended up with the 6 as mentioned before and our stroller/carseat is similar to what you're getting. We have the Britax B Safe carseat and Britax B Agile stroller. Stroller fits fine in the trunk, have plenty of space left for other goodies...

    How much for a 2014 Mazda6 GT?

    I used Truecar to get a rough estimate when I purchased my Touring. The dealer here in Fremont, CA wanted $32,500 for the GT they had in the lot. Didn't see the need to upgrade all the way so saved the cash for my wife's next car and purchased the Touring for $27,100 OTD.

    Yeah, will definitely be taking the Mazda6 and Skyactiv logos off from mine. Anyone know if the Evil M emblem will fit right in the rear Mazda logo slot?

    Congrats! Regarding the shifter, definitely take that in for them to review. Mine has over 2000 miles and never once experienced what you desribed above.

    Worth doing?

    Production is not as flared so you won't get the same feeling. I think it'll cheapen the look, but that's just my opinion.

    Real World Fuel Economy

    Took the car to LA from Bay Area and averaged 34 MPG with a bit of city driving mixed it. Love the drive!

    I was in the same exact position as you when I purchased the 6 last week. We have a 3 months old and was deciding between the CX5 and the 6. We test drove both before deciding and was pretty much 50/50. In the end, we decided on the 6, simply because I prefer driving a sedan versus an SUV...
