I've heard a rumor that buying aftermarket parts that affect your horsepower do not void the warranty from Mazda if you can prove that they aftermarket part is what caused the problem. Is this true? Because I'm looking into a Hi-Flow Cat Back Exhaust sometime soon. Thanks!
IMO, 16s are the better way to go. Especially if you drive it in the winter. 17" Winter Tires put a heavy hole in your pocket. 16s are much cheaper, and with a couple inches of drop, they look really nice.
"Just get a set of lowering springs that drop it about 2" they will look really good and be farily inexpensive. www.protegegarage.com has a set for under $200.
