Ran a compression test on the 130k mile engine in the Miata. The results are 190-190-190-200 (1-2-3-4 respectively), dry. I must say, that's amazing for a car with this many miles on it. The shop manual states that it should be from 175-195. I had the valve cover apart and water pump off this weekend and the oil galleys and coolant passages are spotless!! If it weren't for seapage from the oil pan and rear seal, i'd think the engine was new (it's original). She uses no oil and is always ready to go. These B series engines never cease to amaze me.

Sweet :D

Yeah, the B-series doesn't suck like the F.

:)

lol. I only wish my P5 had a B-series. An FE3 would be cool too. If it weren't for the overly restrictive head in the FS, then it might not be so bad. However, the B-series are freakin bullet proof. But oh well.
