Hi, I'm new to forums, and to fast cars, actually cars. I have bought a turbo kit from projectPTP in Austin. I wanted to go down and get it installed as a vacation but have found out that if customs catches me I'll lose the car. I live in Brandon; no one here. I've talked to a couple of performance shops in Winnipeg but they're reluctant to work on an import (especially a rotary). Having surgery on Friday which will take me off the road for 2 months and would love to get the installation done during this time period. Willing to ship the car. Just would like it close as possible in case there are problems afterwards. Any suggestions? Gonna be here lots. I'm 56 this car is so gorgeous and I want to find out as much as I can about it (so many questions but will read first). The car is a 2010 RX8 GT. Any advice would be so welcome.
