Outside moisture removal from front windows

I'm actually kind of glad my car does this.
Previous vehicles I've owned where the rubber edge always wiped the window ended up scratching the glass after a few years. Tiny vertical streaks that wouldn't come out.
I've been using rain X for many years, and still swear by the stuff.
I completely agree. I'm glad that it doesn't make contact and prevents the streaks and ultimate scratching of the glass over the long term when tiny pieces of grit get caught.

For those complaining, or claiming it's a safety issue, buy a $2 squeegee and clear your windows properly before you start driving if they are covered in moisture, just like you would scrape ice off them in the winter.... oh wait, nobody does that anymore either because.... well no good reason usually.
