Nickel or Zinc plating rims

:
2014 CX-5 Touring
So I just picked up a set Mistubishi Eclipse 18" rims to put on Old Blue ('14 CX-5 Touring) and spruce it up a bit from the stock 17's. Their the same bolt pattern, hub size, and a close enough offset (46mm) all for $120. I've been debating painting the rims, plasti-dip, powdercoat, or maybe zinc or nickel plating. Anybody have any experience with the plating route? A cousin owns a company that does the plating and I wanted opinions before I hit him up it.

Plating should be the most durable and likely will help with resell value as long as you get some common colors. Since your cousin can hook you up, I think it's a no brainier.
