Need EVAP Canister Replacement

I've been looking for a replacement part for my evap because it's broken. I can't pass the smog test without it, and I've looked online everywhere for this one part and I'm told Mazda has discontinued this part. I've even hit up autozone and O'reily's looking for replacement parts and none of their stuff fits the P5. Anyone know any aftermarket solutions or places I could try next?

Have you tried a wrecker?

You may be able to buy one from an online wrecker too.

Are you talking about the square charcoal canister between the gas tank and rear bumper?
(I didn't want to research that part #.)


If you're really desperate, I can sell you the one off my parts car.

Hey pcb, I checked out a wrecker a couple towns away and I actually managed to find the part! Did some checks to see if the evap was working and it turned out alright. Got my car smogged and came out alright too. Thanks for the suggestion dude! It really helped.

It's a PITA and it's fulla gas fumes. Lol
