Just did this for my sister. She picked up a 2005 mazda3 and the halogens were terrible. Cleaning the headlights and even using the cerakote headlight kit made minimal difference in the output. The lenses looked almost brand new after this. Thats when we rolled the dice on the Hikari brand led. Got them on Amazon and went with the mid priced ones. They were like $50. The diode holder is able to be rotated to sit perfectly vertical in the housing and the projectors give it a nice cutoff and not blind oncoming drivers. They are WAY better than halogens.
I did need to trim the hole a bit larger on the rubber cap to get it over the fan on the leds. But other than that it is total plug and play.
