My $260 Mazda3 progress thread

I was nervous about having it inspected, as without an inspection sticker in Maine, a car is just an expensive paperweight. The state's safety inspections are pretty rigorous. I'm happy to say it passed! It's nice to have your hard work validated.

Nice! Congratulations...Not only for your hard work but for rescuing the car as well!

It's bittersweet to say that I sold the 3 last week. With the virus going on we drive so much less now so car #4 didn't make sense. I made about $800 profit, which is basically nothing considering the labor I put in, but not many people have a hobby that pays them! And a lot of people say "Save the Manuals!" but I actually walked the walk, haha.

That is bittersweet but I understand, nice that you made a "profit". In the end, you did rescue this car and that's awesome. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Any plans for a future project? Mazda?

The world sure has changed a lot since I bought that car in January. I'll probably just tinker with what we have for the time being!

Whoever purchased this car is so lucky! A lot has changed due to the pandemic, the mileage of my car is really affected as I don't go out unless it is necessary. Moving on, I am hoping to see more of your modification projects in the future.
