Mazdspeed Protege #1145 build / fix log

I was in the market a while back for a GT spec trunk cage.. 323 scoured the facebook groups and found me a different trunk cage, I think Auto EXE but it could be something else. Anyways as most of you know I've been working hard on renovations of my house. They're coming to a close in the coming months, so that extra time will be spent on my MSP.

Plans are as follows:
-Clean the garage- dirty garage way too hard to work in.
-Remove front and rear subframes and have powder coated with other suspension bits.
-Purchase a few things from JDM sam and Hydra Motorsports.
-Create my own shifter bushing(the one that no one has created yet)(possibly do a run of them)
-Install all suspension bits on subframes, and back onto the car.
-Buy, powder and install new MZ6 upgraded brakes
-Powder coat wheels, and buy tires.(will likely go with either a black chrome wheel, or Neochrome(which would match my horns))

At that point in the build the car will be a solid roller. While I'm waiting on powder coating and what not:
-Wrap headliner in fabric(probably cherry blossom of sorts)
- Install MS3 front seats
-Install Autopower roll cage.
-Finish random engine stuff.

There is still way too much to do, but this is a good starting list.

I did a few odds and ends while had some downtime. Nothing major. Installed Hydra crank pulley, installed new manifold studs.
Also installed msp oil cooler setup.

Heyyy crossing off items on that to do list! 💪🏼
That's exactly how I see it. I'm also going to be having Harnessed Performance build a mil spec harness for me. I know i know, i can do it myself.. but i don't have time. so Why not pay a fellow mazda guy?

Don't gotta tell me twice. Many things are worth paying for vs doing it yourself.
