Mazda's Extended Warranty, The MEC Plan

Without discussing the value or not of extended warranties (there's already tons of reading on that), has anyone had any experience with Mazda's Total Confidence Mazda Extended Confidence Plan?

It's a bet against yourself that's unlikely to pay out in your favor. Save your money, a car is a rapidly depreciating asset.

I think it's better to sell/trade the vehicle before the 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty expires, rather than spending thousands of dollars up front on an extended warranty. JMO.

If anyone has actually bought the nationwide warranty and has had experience with it, I'd also like to know your experience.
