Thanks and staying tuned for updates!
Will the work on this move over to the Mazda6 2.5T as well? Dying for a tune for my 2020 Mazda6 2.5T. The engine is nearly identical.A few baseline dragy runs on 87 octane (dealership tank) and 91 octane. Very interesting how well it adapts between fuels.
Also making good progress on our 2.5t JB4 development. Have boost control up and running, almost have fuel control working, and have the major CANbus channels like knock retard and learned knock value up. Now we just need to sort out what to do with timing and to pull it all together!

Great news. Sign me up! Haha. My 2020 6 GT Reserve won't be complete without this. Glad to see someone moving this forward.Yes JB4 will cover the 2.5T in all platforms that run it.
No, the 2.5T engine was first introduced in the redesigned 2016 CX-9.The 2.5T didn't exist until 2018.
Sorry, you're right. I was in 6 world. No, the 2.5T engine was first introduced in the redesigned 2016 CX-9.
I think he did say that above:@Terry@BMS will it be compatible with 2020 cx9 as well?
I just need confirmation because on the website it only said application for 2017+ Mazda 6, Mazda 3, and CX-5.I think he did say that above:
" Yes JB4 will cover the 2.5T in all platforms that run it. "
