iPhone11 contacts won't sync with 2017 CX-5

Hi all,

Wondering if someone can help me.

I have a new iPhone 11 that I link with my 2017 CX-5 but the phone contacts won't save or display.

I have tried all the advice I have found so far in the forums, but not one currently with this combination.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have it set to sync in the phone settings menu. A lot of people turn it off since they don't add new contacts every day. When it's off it will speed boot-up time since that's one less thing the op sys has to do.

My 2014 Mazda 3 has suddenly started taking over a minute to load contacts, and has twice been unable to load contacts. I have the same phone since purchasing the car 3 1/2 years ago. I have unpaired, “forgotten” the device and “forgotten” the Mazda in the Bluetooth section of my phone, and then re-paired. No change.

What version of Mazda Connect are you running? There were some issues with contacts fixed in later versions, to check go to settings -> system -> about -> version information.
