CX-5 Bolt Question

Hi guys,:)
I'm new to the forum and wondering if anyone can help. I'm looking for the bolts to attach the wheel bearing to axle, I have hunted hi and low but I'm unable to get them anywhere. :(
Regards
Iain

It's a bolt! Take it to a hardware store that has a good selection of metric bolts (probably not the normal big-box store) and ask for one like that. Many smaller stores have much better selection of misc hardware than Lowes/Home Depot. My locally owned Ace has aisles and aisles of nuts/bolts/screws/washers. Just make sure it is zinc coated for rust protection.

You may need to get a bolt with the same size and thread but, only with a Hex head and use a washer. Ed

I'd make sure to get a bolt with at least the same "property class" (as they say in the metric world) which is the strength rating such as 8.8,10.9 etc..It should be stamped on the head. And follow torque recommendations.Lower rated bolts tend to be softer and twist off easier.
Generally it's OK to go up a grade to a slightly stronger bolt but in applications where it's made to fail before other component damage occurs or for safety reasons, it's imperative to use the correct grade bolt.

Thank you for all your feed back,
Wasen't sure if doing this was safe or it was a specialised bolt so thanks for your help.
on my way to local diy store.:)

Hi guys,
I had to cut two bolts off, main dealers are all closed during these strange times with covid 19 and Without knowing the size of bolts and thread I will hang of until dealers reopen.
Cheers
