Mazda has a soft vinyl cargo mat which covers the rear cargo area (including the backs of the rear seats). It's a great product, better than the heavy duty rubber cargo area protectors.
I've seen it on the web. Does it attach somehow, to keep it in place?Agreed.
I got one for my first generation CX-5 and liked it so much that I negotiated inclusion of one with the purchase of my '17 CX-GT ... since transferred to my '19 Signature.
Yes, rear headrests are removed and then reinstalled through grommets in the seat back portion. Additionally, there are several patches of "hook" velcro that secure to the carpet.I've seen it on the web. Does it attach somehow, to keep it in place?
For OEM Mazda CX-5 Canadian Premium Floor Liners, getting them from MazdaShop / Scarborough Mazda in Canada is cheaper.Yep Mazda OEM, discussed in depth previously..
Mats and other things
Just got my 3D MaxSpider from Amazon.com. They did not fit and the holes are not in the correct places. Sending them back in the morning. It's a good thing this is the wife's car. She is not as critical as me. I got mine from Walmart.com I had to move/twist the liner around a little to push...www.mazdas247.com

Got the roof rails and side steps installed. Nice! The side steps look very subtle, great for the CX-5's profile. It's making me consider side steps for my CX-9.. lolwww.mazdas247.com

Yeah, it's Scarborough Mazda in Canada https://mazdashop.ca/collections/20...loor-liners-1st-row-mazda-cx-5-2017-2018-2019 . You can get them on Amazon and ebay as well, but they are actually a little cheaper ordering direct from the Scarborough dealership, right now $141 for front and $99 for rear vs $150 and $110 on Amazon/Ebay. All 3 have free shipping.

I love this tray. Even more since I modified it to allow drop-in access to the space below, and allow for taller items (in my case, a bottle of hand sanitizer or a eyeglasses case).
Just use a dermal to cut the bottom off of the smaller bin and smooth the edges. View attachment 226883View attachment 226884View attachment 226885View attachment 226886View attachment 226887
Nice job Davidiot. I have that same console tray and may try that modification.
You might want to Google that brand of hand sanitizer. Blumen was known to be one of those recalled due to the presence of methanol.
Just put an after market cargo cover in my car. Surprised they don't all just come with them.
I thought I'd buy one, but realize I prefer without. It would be in the way when I drop the rear seats, and the window tinting thwarts casual observation of contents.Just put an after market cargo cover in my car. Surprised they don't all just come with them.
Methanol is a nerve toxin and can be absorbed through the skin.I wasn’t aware of that ... or aware that methanol in the sanitizer was a bad thing. But I have a giant jug of something else acquired since, so I can just refill the bottle. Thanks for that info!
