CX-5 Accessory must haves?

Read some of the comments here about Weather Tech mats. I don't like mine.

Not only do they look very utilitarian, they have other issues:
-Dirt stains them, and they are very hard to get clean (this happens quickly).
-They do not cover the Dead Pedal all the way. The upper half remains exposed.
-They don't protect the base of the accelerator very well and dirt gets around it.

Check this page and others in that thread. Check out my commet on that page regarding the Weather Tech cargo mat and Cargo Containers. I do like those.
Thank you - I appreciate it. I’ll definitely look into those threads

I was supposed to buy Weathertech mats for my 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. Checking out Husky Liners instead.

I just purchased the husky all weather mats, they do cover the whole dead pedal and they were cheaper than weather tech. :)

Just ordered the MaxPiders from autoanything for $85 delivered. Fronts only. Will post a review. Have never had Huskys. Had WeatherTech in my 2014 and I thought they were ok...did the job but I didn't love 'em.

I bought a set of the Maxpiders last fall at the beginning of the snow season. I really like them and the fit is perfect. In fact I like them so much that I never switched back to the factory carpeted mats which I had intended to do when fair weather returned.
They are easy to vacuum clean and any ground in dirt comes clean with a damp towel.

Just got my new CX-5 on Friday, yesterday was spent putting on the splash guards, rear bumper protector, cargo mat and cargo cover. I will be getting new Maxpider mats for the front before winter, making due with my 2016 Maxpider mats until then. they don't fit perfectly but are fine for now. Next up is tinting the front windows and a trailer hitch.

I haven't look at the floor liners yet(not the floor mats), but I found this picture online, looks like it covers the dead pedal?

Awesome!
Thank you so much for the all the information

You guys don't realize how great you have it up north when it comes to shopping.
I have to get most of my accessories from Amazon Mexico, Aliexpress or Fleabay.

Unfortunately, since the Mexico Post system changed in 2017 theft rates have increased from 1% to 12 and many sellers now refuse to ship to Mexico or only by expensive delivery services.

I sent a couple of Launch CR529 code readers and a Sofirn SP36 flashlight to my brother and nephews in Oregon the other day and both were sent from within the US by USPS and arrived in less than a week using 4PX USPS shipping.

Yeah, I know it's China but BudgetLightForum, of which I'm a member designed the light. I do buy made in the USA products when I can get them.

Got a https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) cargo mat and a https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) from Amazon Mexico and have mudflaps, remote key covers, remote key replacement shell with key, wiper inserts, etc on the way from Aliexpress. more in the screenshots.

Aliexpress is fine IF you lower your expectations and convenience level.
You need to check out the seller, read the reviews and often ask questions because the listings aren't detailed enough or contradictory, but the few times I've received the wrong or crappy quality item a quick dispute with Aliexpress has recovered my money in full.
Same with non-delivery even though Mexico Post lost, misdirected or stole the items.
A quick logistics dispute and money returned.
The only 2 times I had problems with Aliexpress Chase bank recovered my funds.

looks like everyone is simply drop shipping these CX-5 wireless chargers from China (not a suprise),

a few more can be found with this search

Let me know how it looks. I don't have a phone that charges wirelessly, but I'm thinking of getting this nevertheless.
Update I just got mine delivered today thru Amazon Prime. Took 2 days to get the product. The item is junk I barely could get it to fit properly I had to basically shoe horn it to go in and it wouldn't charge my phone. The volt meter on it is pretty cool but the entire thing definitely doesn't look as cool as it does in the picture. It is very cheaply made. The plastic type coating in one corner was starting to flake away as well.

A main reason I bought it thru Amazon instead of getting it cheaper elsewhere is now I already have the return started and I'll get my refund next week. I'm sure it would of been a pain to return something thru aliexpress or some drop shipping website. I do not recommend this product.
