Coolant temperature sensors - readout

:
CX-5 II 2.5L NA
Anybody knows at which temperatures:

- The Blue temperature indicator goes out (indicating your engine is warm enough to drive normally).
- The Red temperature indicator goes on (indicating you engine is too hot!).

May I assume that these temperature sensors & readouts are the same for both the diesel and petrol versions?

I just tested the blue light with my OBDII reader, and that light goes out at 130F. I personally have never seen the light go red, so I have no idea at what temperature that occurs.

No problem. Post up if you figure out the "hot" reading. So far my coolant has not exceeded 208 degrees (at least while I was monitoring it).

Does anyone know the oil temps this vehicle runs at?

For reference:

2011 C6 Z06: 195ish*F on a normal hot summer day
2012 370Z: 200ish*F on a normal hot summer day

Unfortunately the PID's for oil temp that came with 'Engine Link' does not work on my car. I'd need to find / create an id and formula that works with the cx-5. If someone has this info I can look at the operating temps.

Someone on this site had the factory values for the coolant lights. Don't remember when or who, unfortunately. Ed

I believe it is around 200-220f

I had ScanGauge-II-X connected to my '08 CX9.
ATF-temp was 193F when it reached stable temp.

Here's the temperature gauge.
