Any way to stop contacts loading?

I just thought it was me. My first Mazda. Brought it in and they reflashed/updated the software version (supposedly) but it still does the contact reload each Bluetooth connect.
I finally gave up and just connect through the USB cable.

Automatically import contacts:

1. Select Settings from the Communication menu.
2. Select Auto Download, press ON to have all contacts download automatically whenever phone is connected.

One would think you could turn this off at the same location.

I'm glad you asked. I don't change my contacts that often and will turn this off now I know how.

Yes, Thank You -- that's seems to have done it. Hopefully it will speed boot-up up a little.

I'm hoping it might also make boot-up less buggy, since there's one less thing hitting the CPU at startup.

Thanks for this thread. I didn't realize I could turn that annoying automatic contact load/etc. stuff off.

I turned it off the auto download contacts last week. In the few times I've driven since then it seems slightly quicker to boot and load up.....or just imagining it. As previously said, one less thing to bog the startup can only help.
