2016 CX9 Factory Roof Rack Tie Points

Why are there no hook/tie points on the factory roof rack? Am I missing something? It appears to only be good for items that clamp to the bars.

Yes, that's the case. It's not designed to have things tied down, unless you use cross bars, and tie to them, or install a roof basket on the crossbars.

OEM Cross bars can be had for $175 shipped. Get them they are nice and finish the roof off.
