2004~2008 2008 Hatchback rear clunking

:
2014 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring
I bought my wife a low mileage (55K) Mazda 3 from 2008. Has a rear clunk and thought it was the end links that attach to the sway bar, replaced them but still making clunking noise when going over uneven pavement or small bumps. Driver side and back by the rear suspension. Any ideas?

Check coil spring toward the bottom. Use a mirror and flashlight. Very common for the swaybar link to go bad. My 2008 mazda 3i has 329,000 miles on it. This car has been very good so far.
