    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

Picked up a couple of torque wrenches that will help with future work on this car and any others that I may work on down the line. 20-200 in-lbs and 25-250 ft-lbs.

    2017-Current CX-5 list of TSBs?

Are you experiencing any problems with your car currently? A TSB is reference material that the dealership service team uses to diagnose/repair an existing issue. They can't be used to preemptively fix something that isn't broken.

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

Wifey took a well-deserved nap with the two kids yesterday afternoon, so I relaxed a bit as well and did a quick exterior detail on the dusty car. Man I love a clean car

When I installed them, I didn't check to make sure they were watertight, so it's certainly a possibility. Warranty on these is only 3 months, but I'm currently working with the seller to get a reduced price on a replacement set. If I end up getting a replacement set, I'll definitely be following...

Nice! Be sure to apply some protective coating like a spray wax to the window visors as a preventative measure against fading.

Took the car through the touchless wash yesterday, then gave it a wipedown with Turtle Wax Ice Seal 'n Shine (click/tap on the pictures to see a larger version). Check out the swirls in the piano black trim. Mazda, stop using piano black!

    Mazda CX-50

I agree with you guys, they'll probably keep both models, at least for a while. The CX-50 will definitely be more expensive, and they need something in the CX-5's current price range to continue to compete for sales. With the car being a little bigger, having a different platform, and likely...

Love My New 2019 CX-5 Touring...Except for the Seats

Wish I had an answer. Even Volvo, who has a well-earned reputation for having the most comfortable seats out there, has customers/owners who just don't like their seats. It sucks because not everyone has the time or patience to test the seat comfort for an extended period of time during the...

    2021 CX-9 brakes feel soft?

First thing I'd do is check the brake fluid levels under the hood. If it looks ok, I'd take it to the dealer and probably test drive other CX-9s on the lot to see if they feel the same. If yours feels different after test driving the others, ask the dealer to troubleshoot and resolve the issue...

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

Well that didn't last long. June 2019 - May 2021. A few LEDs on each turn signal housing died. I believe I'm out of warranty on these as well (not that having a warranty means much when dealing with cheap stuff like this imported from overseas). Oh well, they were nice when they worked. Back to...

The bulge over the rear fenders (circled in green) might also suggest that this car is using the new FR platform.
