I'm planning to do that only concern "frozen" gauges . How they stuck ? What energy keep those ?

Hi there , after night was unable to start engine . Check Battery voltage shows only 4.8V. Charge battery overnight to 12.6V .Install back and... no signs of life at all .Only notice that speedometer and tachometer freezes at 11 a o'clock. Any ideas what happens ? p.s. gauges remain in same...
