Just saw this comment. I bought my car in Alberta. Because they don't require front plates in AB, there are no holes for the front license plate mount in my bumper. I wanted to keep it that way, so I had a license plate mount custom made by the guy who made a similar mount for my old car. Only downside to this is that the license plate gets in the way of the parking sensors on the front bumper, so if I turn the parking sensor function on, all I hear is beeping at low speeds, haha. I don't use that function, so no big deal. Rear cross traffic alert works just fine with the parking sensors off.
Funny. My GT lacks the front sensors. I was actually considering getting aftermarket sensors. I'd never cut into the bumper though, just "hide" them in front of the lower grill or something. Probably not gonna go through with it though as I'm starting to get used to the long hood. I parked into some snow once, but that's about it.
