Yeah, I know.. I'm trying to get in touch with him to get an update for all of us. I have a hard time believing Tom would just up and disappear like that, but the whole lack of contact and ignoring PMs/emails isn't looking good.

Hopefully he comes back and finishes all of our stuff soon..
 
i haven't done anything on the forums for a while but in the initial DP GB, there was a period of time like this. It all works out in the end, have patience it is worth it for a very affordable, very well put together piece. Folks take vacation and have things happen in their lives, even fabricators.. I want one of these but suddenly find myself in need of another clutch...Go Pope.
 
I am patiently waiting for my manifold so i can start driving my car again.....it's been almost 8 months now. While I am more than willing to wait as long as it takes (and continue to not drive my car) the lack of contact has me concerned. A couple months back I recieved a very professional email detailing the production issues and even gave an estimated date. While that date is long gone I simply would like some sort of confirmation that this stuff is still in the works.....or maybe it's not in the works. I would just like some sort of update, please.

It's not about it taking long or the possibility of "things happening in their lives", but more about the blatant lack of communication on his part. He is getting the PMs and emails, he's logged onto the site many, many times, but he will NOT reply to ANYONE. That's the issue here.
 
I don't care what he has going on or if he takes a break that's fine by all means. No contact or update is strictly not okay and very unprofessional no matter what the situation is!

So you're still waiting on yours as well then? I thought mine was the only one left..

Ok, so there are 2 manifolds and 4 downpipes left to finish. I do agree with your stand on patience, I have actually been encouraging Tom to place my manifold on the back burner so he can finish the downpipes as I understand he can only do so much with his free time, but ultimately the lack of communication is unacceptable.

I am still hoping this all gets sorted out soon, I would really hate for all of us to have to resort to pursuing him to get our money back.

I understand that time isn't the issue. I just can't help but think that all the people backing the guy up saying not to be on him about it helped distract everyone away from being like wtf this guy just stopped posting and replying
