The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

lol... he hasn't shown up in the questions

who else is at work having slept only 2 hours because they were up playing Resident Evil 6?

I have a little more than 2 hours but Amber's dog decided he wanted to be the most annoying dog in the world last night. Kennedy is finally sleeping thru the night and now this.

It is unfortunate that any and all xxxx of the month contests are all more popularity contests than actual voting on the product/car.

Might as well post it here too:
So the question for this fall is (for the front wheels) 17x8 w/ 245/45/17 or 17x9 w/ 275/45/17. I need the wheels in the front for when I start making my wider fenders. This way I know how much further the fender needs to come out and depending on the offset, how wide of a spacer I need to have.

food for thought, a 245/40/17 has the same circumference as our stock tire size. If you want a lower offset wheel 17x8, You can fit a higher offset wheel on stock fenders with a higher offset. +38 was flush or pretty close to up front with the evo wheels I had.
+38 with a 235/45/17

My 225/50/16 +35 stick out almost a 1/2 in the rear, but in the front they are still inside in the fender. Is that picture of the front or the rear. I'm guessing front, but can't tell for sure.

I'm trying to keep in mind the inside of the wheel were it is going to meet the strut tower wall.

any fellow hunters in here?

I'm a newb bird hunter (with dog). I went deer hunting last year twice, saw NO deer, couldn't get out of my tree, and about froze to death. I don't think I'll go deer hunting anymore.

Yea, waterfoul hunter here. I may also go deer hunting during gun season.

yeah i hunt, deer (rifle, archery, and since my dad now has a flint lock and muzzle loader i MAY try my hand at both of those seasons haha)
i used to do alot more bird/rabbit hunting until my buddies beagle passed away, havent done much since... wouldnt mind getting back into some more of it though haha

Well, we have a tree stand at work, so I may be sitting out an hour or so after work with a cross bow.

NICE!

i found a few areas to hunt archery close to my house so im going to try to get out and scout/hunt all at the same time since i dont know the areas well
but ill be taking 3-4 days off the end of the month and headed back to my parents place 3 hours east of pittsburgh and hunting a wed-sat in land i know

I wish I had a PA hunting license, but out of state make is serious $$$, otherwise I would head up to my dad's cabin outside of Tidioute, PA and do some small game and deer hunting.

yeah out of state licenses are expensive! it would be close 200 bucks for me to get a license/tags to hunt in OH

It's funny, for me to get an out of state concealed carry permit is cheaper than getting a blasted hunting license in PA.

Well, that's true. Unfortunately waterfoul is damn expensive to hunt anyways. #1 steel shells, a $20 federal duck stamp, $20 ohio wetland stamp, $20 for the license itself, and that's not including equipement (shotgun, blind, decoys, etc.....)

BTW, I still need to take a drive to a PA sherrifs office to get my out of state CCW permit
