What have you done to your P5 today?

+1 I like it!

I just ordered a silver RockyMounts TieRod bike rack for my P5 for $107 on Amazon! Time to sell my Thule setup!

i picked up a full thule rack with the p5s fit kit, ski rack, and a fork mount tray for $50 the other day :D. bought it so i can haul around my kayak. completely forgot about my kayak when i traded off my stock rack for fillers

^riding anything good?

Pulled my exhaust, mocked up the pope DP, dropped the oil and coolant. Got a busy weekend so the wife let me have tonight. Next week comes changing thermostat housing, install coolant sensor in the upper main rad hose for the microtech, dropping the oil pan and girdle for yet another attempt at a proper oil drain. This will be four holes in the girdle and probably more to come! All for 3" straight pipe exhaust. Probably going to be too loud when it's all said and done.

Wish me luck.

I dig it. Are you planning to fill in around the housing? Maybe cut a set of the fog deletes to fit around them?

Yes, thats my plan. But before I even cut into them I will try and make some covers using the fog deletes I have on the way as templates.

I want my next mod to be a header but I'm worried about emissions here in NJ. Do you have inspection for emissions?

all we have in CT is emissions inspection. but I will just throw the stock header on when testing is needed every 2 years.

and its an obx that I picked up off ebay

is it a visual inspection? if not just use the non fouler on the o2

Got a lot done in the last 3 hours, even though it's been raining like crazy. Love having a garage.

P5
1. Measured the rear hubs to see how much of a bolt-on spacer I can use (10mm is too short and the hubcentric part hits the hub) - Looks like I'll have to go 20mm
2. Ground down some of the body inside the rear wheel well, since the endlinks were rubbing against the body from being pulled in by the AAC link kit
3. Heat formed a license plate frame to my angle-bent front license plate
4. Re-drilled screws in my lip to get it to sit more even on one side
5. Installed new OEM lower grille, since mine was all faded and 3/4 tabs were broken.

MZ3 (GF's)
1. Got it aligned since I put MS3 Pro-kit and shocks in it 3 weeks ago
2. Lubed the front passenger top-hat bearing
3. Replaced the map light bulbs with LEDs
4. Added Axela badge
5. Installed MOCC license plate frame in rear

the install will be friday or saturday, so ill def get a clip. the before clip will have a slight exhaust leak sound to it :)

Make sure you have the correct cone gasket to go between the header and mid-pipe. My local Advance Auto gave me a run-of-the-mill donut gasket the first time around.
