What your doing at work is mostly taught in control systems (depending on the schools program of course), but they don't seem to teach like they used to based on what I've heard from other ppl who graduated ~20yr ago lol

I'm giving a try to Rotella T to my brothers VW 2.0L N/A , if it works for it I might use it in MSP

Yeah, everything I'm doing now I learned in controls and digital systems, for the most part... but I've been told they have classes about different types of process instrumentation. Nothing like that was offered at my school... not that I knew I'd be doing this for work anyway...

Ah...so you've been there...dural puncture also or migraines? It's been crazy....I have moments where it will subside a little and then the pain intensifies on the right side of my head..subsides and repeats on the left. Getting ready to call it a day and leave the office as I type this.

Helped Oleg build a subwoofer box this weekend. Forgot to mention he was coming over. We spent most of the time drinking beer and waiting for glue to dry. Box came out well, Oleg took a few pics of the process.

Hahaha. A Nissan factory driver brought a Godzirra to one of our local events and went head to head with a guy from the club who auto-x's a stock 350Z. GT-R's should never auto-x. That's all there is to it.

Morning all, Happy humpday.

Went to a local Miata tech meet. Finally figured a way to get my lowered car on one of their lifts. So much easier to do the trans fluid change this way. Took a look around and was trying to find a rattling noise in the rear. Banged the muffler and found the issue.

Sent an email to Brian Goodwin. Waiting for a response.

Actually not too bad. It's after the muffler so not any noisier. Will wrap it in some muffler tape for the time being. The exhaust is supposed to be warrantied for life.

Not sure if you remember, but I worked for a startup a few years back that ended up going under. The execs were thinking big but could not execute small. Afterward, I interviewed for a bunch of other similar companies. They all had great pitches and great ideas...but looking back, none of them have become profitable, and its been over 2 years. Anyway, just a friendly tip, take it for what its worth. You don't just stumble upon the next facebook...but then again, sometimes you do. Just make sure you have your compensation in writing whether it be salary or stock options.

well said. I work at a software company where our whole thing is scalability. Sure, we're still a startup, but we have the customer base, support and software built to grow into a huge one.

OMG, i'm not sure i can raise the deck high enough!...

very impressive! i got 30.25 on my last tank
