so the subframe is in - lateral links are mounted up. i am still waiting on some grade 10 yellow zinked hardware so that i can mount the gt spec bracing up before the trailing arms go in. i do need to source some red rear polly swaybar bushings. so if anyone knows of some that work with the stock bushing brackets post a link. need asap so i can get the sway bar in. once all that is done, ill mount up the wheels and turn her around to start tearing down the front end.
as you can see there is plenty of room now for larger wheels

so the new hardware game in for the gtspec bracing. these are gold zinked grade 10 - 8 20 bolts with matching lock washers. stoked about the quality. glad to have waited.
the trailing arms got taped up so that when the ebraek cable gets mounted up it doesn't scratch the finish.
when mounting up the AAC trailing arms it's best to start with the heim joint end first. this will make it easier to line up the ebrake bracket later.
ebrake cable threaded but not tightened down.
check out the washers - these were needed due to the most recent batch of polly bushings not being thick enough to compress with the stock bolt length. this stacking works perfectly and probably an improvement over running just the smaller half sized oem washer.
this is the final bolt up. notice the washer stack. works perf! The AAC link kit will come with these additional washer. washer are grade 8 yellow zinked.
once the trailing arm is mounted it's good to measure and replicate the same distance on the other side. chances are after install of all the AAC link arms you will need an alignment and your shop will do this. doing this a head of time might save them some time and effort thus ca$h.
now the complete package!

got the msp off jacks and turned her around. lets just say there were some austin powers moments trying to get her up over the driveway edge into the garage. ******* exhaust! glad i don't have under axle. once we figured out that we needed to back it in at a ridiculous angle that got is in the garage but also put us all the way up against the wall with the door. lots of forward back turn, forward back turn, before we were able to center the car.
damn that driver side wheel has some serious camber
check out all that clearance!
much more space up front now to pull apart the car and prep for the motor install.
the rad is out
pulled the perrin FMIC and piping out. new turbo life replacement pipes will go in after install.
the end result with all the easy s*** removed - lamps, strut tower, fmic, rad, battery, hood, etc. next project is air condition removal along with all wiper parts.
stash - nothing like having a whole ton of car parts stashed in the basement!!!
