I should've posted a link. I got them from Barry at BDT Graphics.

I bought my "Protege5.com" vinyl from him a year ago and they are holding up really well through the winter/salt and summer/sun. He made them and shipped them out in a week. Great guy, product and service.

Wait a tic, didn't you get your "supercharged" sticker from him, HK? I saw one on his site.

=) I sure did.

I didnt see the first sticker on his website. Im going to pick that up.

Thanks

Oh man, I want all of those stickers. Especially the "rust is lighter than carbon fiber" one :D

I just installed an SS clutch line and tbh I don't notice a difference. The pedal is smoother to push down but I suspect that's only because I passed over half a liter of brake fluid through the clutch hydraulic system while bleeding it.

Rust is lighter than carbon fiber should go on my P5... since 1/4 of it is missing and all... LOL

Here's a link for the Rust/CF sticker if you guys are interested. But I ordered mine on 12/23 and still haven't received the product. I emailed them yesterday asking for a status update but haven't heard back. Just a heads up. I know it's just $ for a sticker but still.

Wes- I have the StopTech rear brakelines I got from Jon and will install them when I get front ones and new front rotors. I think one of them is slightly warped. It was a little sketchy hitting the brakes on the back stretch at Mid-Ohio.

Cheese, thanks for the info, mate. I figured the SS line is only $35 so it's worth it to replace it, even for a piece of mind. i doubt I would notice any difference either. But I intend to flush and bleed the clutch line really well too. Brake fluid tastes yummy, right Wes?

Phen, maybe if you took better care of your P5 it wouldn't have fallen apart on you. Bazinga. I still think you should turn your P5 into a rat rod. haha

Jon, yes. Yes you do. s***, I'll even order it and ship it to you guys. :)

Yeah... but see... I used to wash and wax it more than you do. Even in the winter, I was at the car wash at least once a week. That rust popped up in one winter to the point where it was going to cost me $1500 to fix it all and I said **** it.

Lol I dunno, it didn't go in MY mouth. I can't wait for the doing part of the build to start.

Oh, btw, I saw today that the new Hennessey Lotus uses a Quaife LSD and it's got 1200hp. I can't remember if it was you or someone we were talking to that hadn't heard of them and didn't know if it was any good. I'd say it's probably a quality product, which is why it costs almost 2k..

Oh yeah, I know all the big boy race cars use that brand LSD. I don't think I'm going to get an LSD for my build, seeing how I'll maybe see 160whp after all is said and done. I'll see how it feels without the LSD and if it's unbearable then I'll buy an MFactory LSD for $650 (new) and swap that in. I mean, stock PGT's don't have LSD's if I'm not mistaken. It's always something I can swap in on a weekend, aint no thang.

And that Hennessey Lotus you posted in the Sickest ride thread is freaking gorgeous.

I highly recommend it. I auto-x'd a boosted P5 without an LSD a couple years ago and it was a tire smoking b****.

But I don't really plan to auto-x mine. That seems like 2nd gear tight corners and twisties where it would harder to modulate the throttle. Whereas DD and the occasional Hyperdrive I'll be able to modulate the throttle just fine.

I'll see how it is without the LSD. I really don't want to pay another $1000 for the LSD and install.

With that power, you'll notice a difference at the track too. Hell, my 20 whp less P5 spun RT-615's around turns with no effort. I did a ride along in an Mk2 GTI with no LSD and he would break a tire loose on R-comps at Mid-Ohio. Just keep it in mind. It's not like it would hurt at all.

You want an LSD man. The P5 needs an lsd stock, with 43 whp. It's a combination of stiff chassis and the arrangement of the axles. you will hate yourself if you do not. the msp has less power than you'll have and even mazda, who ****** up most of the bj, recognized the need.

I agree with you guys it would be good. It's just we're talking a 2 week paycheck for and LSD installed so I'm weighing my options. I'll do some more research and ask some questions.
